What is major gift consideration and how is it determined?

Major gift consideration is a supporter’s highest (most favorable) response to a major gift question that they’ve submitted on a MarketSmart form (survey, landing page, other campaigns, etc.). There are several considerations: Major Donor, Likely, and Somewhat Likely.

For example, if John Doe said he is likely to talk to a gift officer, will never donate from a donor advised fund and already gives appreciated assets, he would be considered a Major Donor in the dashboard because his highest consideration is “already gives.”
